At the age of ten, I already knew I wanted to be an interpreter one day. I don’t know exactly how or why this desire came about. What I do know: I have never once regretted following this career path. After my Abitur examination, I initially studied at the University of Leipzig (Translation B.A.) before completing my Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting at the University of Strasbourg.

Since 2017 I have been working as a freelance interpreter and translator in Dortmund, specialising in German (A), English (B) and French (C).

As of January 1, 2024 I'm a business partner at Dolmetschwerk.

My areas of work experience range from film festivals, works councils and shareholder meetings to product tests, podium discussions, theatre events and much more.

As networking and professional integrity are so vital in our industry, I have been an active member of the Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer (BDÜ; German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators) and the Verband der Konferenzdolmetscher (VKD; German Association of Conference Interpreters) since 2017 and I also regularly attend further training courses on topics relevant to interpreting and translating.
